Blessings and Greetings to all,
As we begin to see the light at the end of this snow tunnel, I pray that the tunnel is not all that we see or have seen these past few days. While we were snowed in/shut in with the Lord, and with others, I pray that we have seen Him high and lifted up in all His glorious wonder, and have also seen ourselves in the glory of the salvation we possess, and in the frailty of our humanity.
I pray also that we have been encouraged by the Word, and the ongoing work of God in our lives as we looked into the mirror of His Word.
I pray that we have come away with greater insight into our callings, love and patience with each other, a clearer picture of our passions for the King and His Kingdom, and for those areas in which we presently serve.
Sometimes our greatest passions get put on the back burner because we are caught up in volunteering for other areas of ministry in response to a need or a request. But that does not mean that we should forget our passions. PRAY for that work or ministry of your passion that, until you can have a personal part in it, God would send workers into that field which you see is so ripe for harvest.
Prayer is more powerful than the time and effort we put into serving faithfully, rightfully, diligently, and prayerfully. We can't be in two places at once, but our prayers are abundantly able to go to all the places where they are needed. Be encouraged, work in all the places you can according to God's gracious calling on your life, and direct your prayers to all those places and ministries you are afraid you will never get around to serving. Especially, send those prayers to the Lord of the harvest so that we, and the rest of the Body of Christ, will work and pray and depend on the Lord of the harvest to go out and find us, and them, and to move us according to His Perfect will and purpose in all things.
Pray that we will become grace filled disciplers whom God will use to fulfill the vision of FCF to make grace filled disciples.
Luke 10:2 He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
