Living a Life Worthy of Imitation

An overview… The goal of this retreat is to encourage and grow the community of men at Faith Christian Fellowship. Our hope is that you will have the opportunity to create new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
Our focus for this time will be Modeling & Mentoring as essential elements of being a disciple.
Our facilitator for the weekend will be Brian Float, president of KingdomRain, a ministry established in 2001 to train, coach and mentor leaders.

An introduction… Located atop beautiful South Mountain in Frederick County, Skycroft is owned and operated by the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. The facility provides an opportunity to slip away into a quiet spot to reflect, to be re-created, and to be refreshed in the beauty of “God’s great outdoors.”

A closer look…

Please plan to arrive between 6:30 and 7:30pm on Friday, May 14. Dinner will be served promptly at 8:00pm.

Included in the cost are all meals:
- Friday: Dinner
- Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch

We will be staying in the Pine Tree & Valley View lodges (equipped with central heat and AC).

Recreation activities: indoor/outdoor volleyball and basketball courts, racquetball courts, a fitness center, and a game room with ping-pong, pool, and foosball. There are also more than 3 miles of hiking trails. Feel free to bring board games to play as well!

Don’t forget to bring a Bible, a pen, toiletries, a bath towel, bed linens (pillows and blankets will be provided), snacks, and outdoor wear.

Check-out from the sleeping areas is 11:00am Saturday morning. We will wrap up the conference by 5 PM Saturday afternoon.
