Craig Garriott

Craig has been with FCF since the beginning, first as pastoral intern then as organizing pastor in 1980. Born and raised in Granite, MD, he received a bachelor's degree in the college of architecture from Virginia Tech in 1976 before entering the ministry. Pastor Craig also holds a 1982 M. Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary and a 1996 D. Min. in urban missions from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. He and his wife Maria (author of A Thousand Resurrections) have been married since 1980 and have five children.


Stan Long

Stan joined the FCF staff in spring of 2000 after serving as solo pastor of Forest Park Reformed Presbyterian Church, an African American PCA congregation in West Baltimore, for almost nine years. After his 1976 graduation from Frostburg State with a BA in history, Pastor Stan served university students in Maryland through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Black Campus Ministry for 11 years. He then went on to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he earned an M. Div. in 1989. Stan and Terri have been married since 1981 and have five children.

Reuben Amlalo
Youth Director,

Rueben spent the first 14 years of his life in Accra, Ghana and moved to Maryland with his family in 2002. In 2007, at a Voice of the Martyrs convention, he decided to get more serious with God after hearing the stories of persecuted Christians. He was encouraged by his Algebra II teacher to start a bible study right after his encounter and has since been teaching, preaching and discipling young men and women in and outside the church. In 2010, he met his wife Golda, and they have been married since the Spring of 2014. He is serving as an working on his Masters in Divinity in the LAMP Seminary program. Rueben is passionate about reconciliation between God and man, man and man, and man and the creation. When he's not at FCF with the youth, he is driving far and near looking for good food with his wife, watching a documentary or reading by himself.

Assistant Youth Director,

Emily began attending Faith in 1999 while in medical school at the University of Maryland. Since then, God has been deepening her understanding of his love for all people, especially those on the margins of society. She has called Pen Lucy home since 2001. For the last several years she has been a family practice doctor in Highlandtown, where she is daily reminded of her need for God’s mercy and grace. She began volunteering as a youth leader at Faith in 2006 with what has always been an amazing and encouraging team. Wanting to invest more in the teenage girls, she became assistant youth director in 2013. She loves talking with the youth about their honest, insightful questions and walking with them through the adventures of adolescence. In her free time she enjoys almost anything outdoors, music, reading, and thinking about social justice issues.


Cindy Newton
Children's Ministry Director,

Cindy Newton has been a member of FCF since 2006. Growing up in a Christian family and active in her church, she served the Lord as a youth leader for more than 15 years. Cindy has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and she has taken additional courses on working with children through elementary school. She was the Director of two childcare centers for more than 16 years, serving infants through fifth grade. Cindy and Weldon were married in 2006. They have three children and a granddaughter.

Kim-webKim Sutter

Director of Spiritual Formation,

In addition to being the part-time counselor at Faith Christian Fellowship, Kim is also a crisis counselor with police and has a private practice ( She has 30 years of experience in the mental health field, including teaching, working at a rape crisis center, emergency department, consulting with organizations, and training and clinically supervising therapists. She has also studied at the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation in Philadelphia. She is a certified Relational Wisdom instructor and has led retreats and given talks on biblical counseling issues.
