As of January 31, 2008 Faith has 287 baptized members. The congregation is a diverse mix of individuals from various racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are united that the world may know that Jesus Christ was sent into the world to show the love of God the Father by calling to Himself a people from every nation, people, tribe and tongue. Because we have been reconciled to God through Christ, we have committed ourselves to being reconciled with one another through His body, the Church. 

About our pastors

 

Pastor Craig W. Garriott has been with FCF since the beginning, first as pastoral intern then as organizing pastor in 1980. Born and raised in Granite, Md., he received a bachelor's in the college of architecture from Virginia Tech in 1976 before entering the ministry. Pastor Craig also holds a 1982 master's of divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary and a1996 doctor of ministry in urban missions from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. He and his wife Maria, (author of A Thousand Resurrections) have been married since 1980 and have five children.

Co-Pastor Stanley J. Long joined the FCF staff March 1, 2000 after serving as solo pastor of Forest Park Reformed Presbyterian Church, an African American PCA congregation in West Baltimore, for almost nine years. After his 1976 graduation from Frostburg (Md.) State College with a bachelor's in history, Pastor Stan served university students in Maryland through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Black Campus Ministry for 11 years. He then went on to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Ill., where he earned a master's of divinity in 1989. Married to Terri since 1981, the couple has five children
